Shery High School’s commitment to individual success provides an atmosphere of acceptance and appreciation of student differences, needs, abilities and learning styles. The curriculum enables students to obtain a high school diploma or return to an area high school. Students learn to value themselves and others in order to become productive self-supporting members of the community. They set realistic goals, make choices, and experience immediate rewards and consequences for their actions

About Us

Shery High School is a continuation school for students who are at least 16 years old and are behind in credits. We are part of the Torrance Unified School District. Students at Shery work at an accelerated pace to catch up on credits and either return to their home high school or graduate with Shery. Many of our students also attend SCROC (Southern California Regional Occupation Center) which is next door to get certificated in a vocation/trade that may lead to a future career while earning them credits!
